WIC Mother to Mother Breastfeeding Support Group and Classes! You are invited to join our Okanogan Family Health Centers WIC breastfeeding support group. The WIC program welcomes pregnant and breastfeeding moms and their support person to meet others who plan to breastfeed or are currently breastfeeding. Classes to be held February 27th, March 26th & April 23rd @ 1:00pm in English and 3:00 pm in Spanish; in the South Annex building just south of the clinic, 726 - 1st Ave. S., Okanogan, in the Cascade room. Tonasket classes:  February 29th & March 28th at 1:00 pm in English and February 29th & March 28th at 3:00 pm in Spanish; located at the FHC Tonasket WIC office. "Living Well with Chronic Conditions" An FHC Chronic Conditions Support Group.  Presented in English. 6 workshop sessions are held each Monday, February 6th through March 12th from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm at the Family Health Centers South Annex building; 726 - 1st Ave. S., Okanogan. Check out the plant sale brochure and order form here. There are several different native species available, including Ponderosa Pine, Quaking Aspen, Red Osier Dogwood, Mock Orange, and Woods Rose, to name a few.   
Orders will be available for pickup on Saturday, March 24, 2012 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Okanogan County Fair Grounds, Horticulture Building. 
If you missed the January order deadline, we often have surplus plants at the sale, but cannot guarantee the species or quantities you are looking for unless you order ahead. Be sure to get on our mailing list for next year’s brochure mailing so you don't miss out!

Manfisher Picnic in the Park Manfisher Ministries, one of our religious mission outreaches, serves a meal to the needy in Omak every third Sunday of the month. Today at 1:00pm Manfisher is hosting a community wide picnic in the park with hamburgers, hot dogs, and special music.
